Just a remark on Jorge's script:

*remove* the following line from the script

>setenv DISPLAY $1\:0.0

if you want to use SSH-ed X tunneling.

Otherwise, your X data are passed unencrypted.
(Read also the man pages for ssh: the DISPLAY
variable on remote host is set up automatically
and neither you nor any login script should change
it).
