Yes you're right, I restarted sshd, I can connect to a remote machine.
I have one more problem whenever I connect to a machine not in the
known_hosts file, it will ask me if I want to add it.
I run this command "/usr/local/bin/make-ssh-known-hosts", it didn't work
I got a mesg:
/usr/local/bin/make-ssh-known-hosts [--initialdns initial_dns_server]
[--server
dns_server] [--subdomains sub.sub.domain,sub.sub,sub,] [--debug debug_level]
[--
timeout ssh_exec_timeout_in_secs] [--pingtimeout ping_timeout_in_secs]
[--passwo
rdtimeout timeout_for_password_in_secs] [--notrustdaemon] [--norecursive]
[--dom
ainnamesplit] [--silent] [--keyscan] [--nslookup path_to_nslookup] [--ssh
path_t
o_ssh] full.domain [ host_info_take_regexp [ host_info_remove_regex ]]
I also try to use a hostname (mercury is on a DNS):
[jupiter(root):/]#/usr/local/bin/make-ssh-known-hosts mercury
Error: Could not find DNS SOA entry from default dns server
Error: Try giving the initial nameserver with --initialdns option
How can I add more hosts to a know_hosts file?
