Hi all,
This is probably a tremendous newbie problem:
I can't get scp to work.
I have ssh working just fine:
I have a notebook computer (reepicheep) that I can connect via ssh to my
server (aslan) using the following command:
ssh aslan
It works beautifully.
However if I try to use scp in any number of different forms e.g.,
scp filename tjg@aslan:/home/tjg/
or
scp reepicheep:/home/tjg/filename tjg@aslan:/home/tjg/
or
scp filename aslan
or any of the other forms of the command that I have thought to try, I
simply get a brief pause, and then "connection lost".
Does anyone have any suggestions?
