I have tried to install OpenSSH without success. I need some help because I keep
getting error messages from the deamon on boot that it can't find
libcrypto.so.0.
I have installed Red Hat 6.2 on a clean system. Everything else seems to work
fine.
I installed the Zlib package successfully. I then installed OpenSSL, apparently
successfully. Based on my minimal knowledge, "make test" apparently reported
no errors.
I then installed the OpenSSH package, openssh-2.1.1p4-1.i386.rpm, and the
OpenSSH server and client packages, although it showed unresolved dependencies
for libcrypto.so.0 and openssl >= 0.9.5a.
What have I done wrong? I can find no reference to libcrypto.so.0 anywhere else
but the Red Hat site, and none of the entries there seem to tell me what is
wrong.
Thanks in advance!
