Hello,

        I'm configuring Openssh-2.1.1p4 on a Linux Machine (2.4.0-test7
kernel)
with tcp-wrappers, and sshd in inetd.conf. When trying to connect, the
server performs the folowing:

Aug 30 14:41:03 server sshd[13007]: Generating 1152 bit RSA key.
Aug 30 14:41:04 server sshd[13007]: RSA key generation complete.
Aug 30 14:41:04 server PAM_pwdb[13007]: authentication failure; (uid=0)
-> alum for sshd service
Aug 30 14:41:08 server sshd[13007]: Accepted password for alum from
127.0.0.1 port 32800
Aug 30 14:41:08 server PAM_pwdb[13007]: (sshd) session opened for user
alum by (uid=0)
Aug 30 14:41:08 server sshd[13007]: syslogin_perform_logout: logout()
returned an error
Aug 30 14:41:08 server PAM_pwdb[13007]: (sshd) session closed for user
alum

        When sshd is a daemon there is no problem.

Thanks in advance,

Best regards
