Hi, I've tried to authenticate a SUN machine (running F-Secure SSH v 2.0.13) and a linux machine (running Open SSH 2.3.0) using publickey. The whole purpose of the secure shell is to rsync files from Linux machine to he SUN box upon user request. I have generated the identification key in the linux box, then copied the public key (id_dsa_1024_a.pub) to the SUN machine as the local.pub. Then I perform a SSH session to the SUN machine, the error messages that I have is "try to copy /root/.ssh2/id_dsa_1024_a to candidates", then followed by the publickey authentication methods disabled. Anyone have any idea on what is happening ?? Regards, Ling Ling
