Compile 2.3.0 on Digital Unix (OSF, Tru64)

Hello,

I'm having difficulties compiling sshd [2.3.0, 2.1.0.pl2, 2.0.13] on our
Digital Unix 4.0d box.  From what I'm reading it seems that I should force the
use of the native compiler rather than let configure default to gcc (which
happens to be 2.8.1).

Q:  How do I force the use of the native compiler "cc" rather than "gcc".
