Authentication Problem

I have been able install and configure OPENSSH on a RH6.1 using Charles Curley step by 
step docs. However on testing the setup on the server by logging in I got the ff error 
message:
Warning: Permanently added 'hostname' (DSA) to the list of known hosts.
Password: "I provide my login passwd here". Next I get the message below:
Unable to find authentication method.
Any help will be appreciated in debugging the problem. Thanks.
