This fails. It looks like the IPS's DNS is hosed. nslookup machine.name is ok
but a lookup with the ip does not even return a machine name. resolv.conf looks
ok. The only thing in it is a search line and 2 nameserver lines and they are
pointing to the correct nameservers.
