I have more problems with the slow-start algorithm then any delays due to
encryption. Bump local MTU up to 4096 and see huge gains. Normally, my LAN
doesn't see real through-put until the files are >4MB. THEN is starts
getting interesting. Even with encryption, my hosts can saturate the link
(4, actually, quad NIC; Host = dual 860Mhz P-IIIs).
