Hi folks,

I was glad to see an ssh-alternative for the often unsecure ftp-server-codes.
So I immediately tried to get the ssh-2.4.0-package working on our
osf-alpha-stations.

Everything works fine, only the sftp-server is making trouble: when logging in
from one station with sftp2 to another with sftp-server2 running, the
authentication works fine, but immediately after getting the sftp-prompt, I get
a strange message:

sftp> stty: tcgetattr: Invalid argument
                                       Not a terminal
                                                     Warning:
ssh_packet_wrapper_input: invalid packet received: len 173303913 closing the
offending input channel.

Afterwards, I can use all commands but the ones responsible for the remote
machine. This means, eg. the ls-command is infinitely waiting and it doesn't
list anything. I have to stop the process by type CTRL-C twice.

What's the problem????

Please help a poor academic sysadmin.

Thanks
Armin
