make Install problem

Hi,

        Context:
                Sun E3000
                Solaris 2.8 - latest patches and maintenance updates
                SSH 1.2.31

        Problem:  ./configure --with-libwrap=/usr/local/lib/libwrap.a
                    make   (no errors or warnings noted)
                    make install  (gets to the point where it says:
                        "Generating 1024 bit host key."
                        "Initializing random number generator.....", then just hangs 
at that point.

        Anyone else run into this problem with Solaris 8 and this version?  I've 
got this version and same Solaris version running on an Ultra 1 and an 
Ultra 10, with no problems.
