I am attempting to install on an HP-UX 10.20 system. I downloaded and installed SSL
and ZLIB per instructions. How do I get the openSSH configure program to find the
ZLIB libraries. I tried putting them in the path, putting them in an LD_LIBRARY_PATH,
throwing in some options (--with_libs ...), copied the header and lib files to be in
the install directory with the openSSH.
For some reason I always get back that:
checking for deflate in -lz... no
configure: error: *** zlib missing - please install first or check config.log **
I what silly mistake am I making?
