Hi,
When I transfer files from my PC to UNIX, they all end up with ^M
characters at the end-of-line. I searched the help menu and SSH website
to see how to fix this, but couldn't find anything. I think I need to
specify an ASCII transfer instead of binary, but can't figure out how to
do this.
Does anyone know how to transfer the file and not get the ^M character?
I know there are ways of eliminating the control character once you have
the file in UNIX, but it is cumbersome when you have several files.
Thank you,
