openssh problem

Hi,

I have loaded down successfully all compents to make openssh on our HPUX
11.00 machine including zlib 1.1.3.  Then when i go into and run the the
configure for configuring openssh.  It fails with the message that zlib is
not installed please install it.  I have installed it and it installed
succesfully.  Any information on this would be helpful.  I have emailed zlib
support and they informed me to email you.
