Hi,
I am having problem getting SSLFakeBasicAuth working on a Solaris 2.5 machine
with Apache 1.2.6/SSL 0.8.1. I followed the instructions and set up a
user/password file that lists the "one line" version of the client's X509
certificate with the password: xxj31ZMTZzkVA. After setting up the .htaccess
file and trying to access the directory with the .htaccess file, I get the
dialog box where I am asked to pick a specific client certificate (I have two).
However, I keep getting the following error:
[Tue Apr 14 15:54:44 1998] Verify depth exceeded
[Tue Apr 14 15:54:44 1998] SSL_Accept failed
[Tue Apr 14 15:54:44 1998] error:140890AC:SSL
routines:SSL3_GET_CLIENT_CERTIFICATE:no certificate returned
I have changed all the relevant parameters (SSLVerifyClient, SSLVerifyDepth,
etc.) to various settings, and I still get the above error.
Any suggestions?
