Here is a modification to s_client.c which accepts keyboard input
under Windows. It has been tested using Windows95, but should also
work with NT and even Windows 3.x. It should also still compile OK on
non-Windows systems. It is based on SSLeay 0.9.0. How about
incorporating it in 0.9.1, Eric?

It does not do end-of-line conversions, so if you want to send
<cr><lf> you should press Enter and Ctrl-J. If you want to close the
connection, use Ctrl-C which will give an error and close the
connection.

Enjoy!
