Our little dragons are quite powerful , The crimping of the exhaust actually
tames the performance and does not lessen pull . I also posit that I get a
longer run time as my steam doesn't "freewheel" up and out .. I need less
fire cause my steam is not leaving as fast , the boiler pressure remains
higher creating "hotter" steam .. More latent heat .. engineering term .. I
also put a hole in the pipe on my cricket down near the engine to allow some
steam to escape there which looks very nice as the thing waddles along
blowing steam in several directions ..
