I posted this question some time back with permission from Dave (list mom) as long as it was posted as "off topic" (O.T.). Are there others out there in sslivesteam land that are certified SCUBA divers who might want to try to sneak in a dive or two while in Diamondhead? I have found a dive shop nearby that will take a boat out at almost anytime we request and will let the divers choose the dive location as long as it's approved for the experience levels and certifications of all divers. I failed to ask about rental rates but will be glad to contact the shop again if needed. I can also provide some needed equipment if informed of the need before departure (sometime Thursday night or Friday morning early). Tanks, regulators, octo/safe second, gauges or computer, mask and fins would not be a problem. I also have an extra back inflated BC (tech style) as well, size XL. Sorry, no extra exposure suit. I prefer to not night dive due to unfamiliar water, but would be willing if the comfort level was manageable with no undo risk or stress. I will be driving to DH and can therefore provide round trip transportation (pickup truck) to and from the dive shop for two other divers and their equipment. I do not plan to take up much time with the dive(s) since I'll be in Diamondhead for a short period of time and the dive is not my real reason for being there. I also plan to take the dive(s) at a time that doesn't interfere with other DH activities (if at all possible). If there are interested (certified) divers just contact me off list. Please include certification level, experience level, diving style, etc. I'll be glad to provide information about my certification for your review as well. If the last minute rush keeps us from communicating about this, just bring your equipment and we can discuss the possibilities there. I'll bring my equipment "just in case". Later, Trent
