Hi All: I did build a smaller BAGARS locomotive for a friend using a smaller "wobbler" engine of my own design and a modified Midwest boiler (added copper heat absorbing studs on the bottom of the boiler) This was made for 0-27 Lionel track. Now I would like to make one for myself, but of a more complex nature. Maybe an 0-4-0 switcher with two oscillating cylinders to run on O gauge track. I see there are some commercial trains advertised that will do that, but it is more fun and doesn't hit my social security check quite so hard if I make it a DIY project. Any suggestions would be appreciated. BTW I have built and run a 3=1/2 inch gauge 4-4-0 that I ride behind around our yard. John Meacham from the high deserts of Calif 12 inch Atlas lathe, mini mill, HF band saw and a rusty file. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
