Dave, I'm a relative newcomer to the list, but I sometimes find the discussions enlightening, always polite and sometimes a hoot. But I get all my info about frost heaves and ancillary topics from other websites, such as mylargescale.com. Those are more general and their members relative newcomers to live steam - this list includes the serious veterans, and hence the extremely valuable discussions. It doesn't bother me that a week goes by without any posts. When they come, I know they will be useful.
