We see that you support various schemas: https://fedorahosted.org/sssd/wiki/DesignDocs/AutofsIntegration For Samba4 AD we chose NIS because it's already available in the 2008 schema. For the rfc2307 schemas we'd need to extend the it. Would there be any advantage in us doing this? My colleagues tell me that NIS is obsolete. My argument is that it's nothing to do with the NIS that's obsolete. For AD it makes sense to use what's available. Any comments most welcome.
