Sorry, my bad. I was mistaken that the new LPM code was already released as there was quite some time gap between the new implementation and the fix. Hmmm... I usually add stable tag when the patch is an obvious regression or rather serious (and/or safe) bug fix. There might still be some values in tagging them somehow but yeah that would unduly increase your workload. I'll try to verify the offending part is actually released before adding the stable tag.
