Heya. Sorry if this is the wrong person/method for mentioning this, but I'm not
really familiar with kernel culture or reporting bugs.

This patch breaks resuming after s2disk on my Asus 1000. The hibernate and
resume work, but then immediately kernel panics and restarts.

I am running 2.6.38.6 (Arch distro) and I can't revert the patch directly, but
hacking smpboot.c to restore the original behaviour gets me my hibernate back.

I don't have a clue about cache flush behaviour, but I imagine that the Atom
processor in some way isn't correctly reporting itself so your patch does the
wrong thing for it. Fixing it properly is way beyond my pay grade and skill
level, but if you want me to try something on my hardware I would be happy to
help.

Andrew
