Ben,

Yes, this patch "3w-9xxx fix bug in sgl loading" should be applied to long term
2.6.32.y kernels.

Thanks.

Subject: LSI recommended bug fix for 3w-9xxx?

A Debian user pointed out that the current release notes from LSI
recommend use of driver version 2.26.02.013
<http://www.lsi.com/downloads/Public/SATA/SATA%20Common%20Files/9.5.4_Release_Notes.pdf>
but Linux 2.6.32 has version 2.26.02.012.

The only bug fix between these versions is:

commit 53ca353594a254e6bd45ccf2d405aa31bcbb7091

    [SCSI] 3w-9xxx fix bug in sgl loading

Should that be applied to longterm 2.6.32.y?

Ben.
