This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled

    media: rc-core: set mode for winbond-cir

to the 3.3-stable tree which can be found at:

The filename of the patch is:
     media-rc-core-set-mode-for-winbond-cir.patch
and it can be found in the queue-3.3 subdirectory.

If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree,

Setting the correct mode is required by rc-core or scancodes won't be
generated (which isn't very user-friendly).

This one-line fix should be suitable for 3.4-rc2.
