Also relies on this patch:
http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git;a=commitdiff;h=4f81f986761a7663db7d24d24cd6ae68008f1fc2

It should apply fine to older kernels as well I think. The set allows the
radeon driver to work on UEFI systems that don't put a copy of the vbios in the
legacy vga location. In that case the image must be fetched from ACPI. It
would be nice to have in at least 3.4. The same applies to this patch:
http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git;a=commitdiff;h=c61e2775873f603148e8e998a938721b7d222d24
It allows the radeon driver to work on systems with a radeon on a thunderbolt
dock.

Thanks,

Alex
