This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled
dccp: check ccid before dereferencing
to the 3.0-stable tree which can be found at:
http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary
The filename of the patch is:
dccp-check-ccid-before-dereferencing.patch
and it can be found in the queue-3.0 subdirectory.
If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree,

ccid_hc_rx_getsockopt() and ccid_hc_tx_getsockopt() might be called with
a NULL ccid pointer leading to a NULL pointer dereference. This could
lead to a privilege escalation if the attacker is able to map page 0 and
prepare it with a fake ccid_ops pointer.
