In the openSUSE forum thread at
news://support-forums.novell.com:119/[email protected], a
user of openSUSE 12.3 with an XPS13 has been forced to build a 3.9 kernel to
pick up the fixes to the Cypress touchpad in commit 81bb5d3.
After a quick glance at the patch, I think that it should be backported to
Stable.
