Note that this doesn't address run-time issues, and IMHO the only reason
we need it in mainline is to get 'allyesconfig' to build, which otherwise
fails with a link error. I think either way (in stable or not) is fine, just
letting you know that it's not critical, in case you want to reduce the amount
of churn in -stable.
