This patch is a no-op. There is a tested fix pending on linux-input: http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.linux.kernel.input/31873 I didn't know this patch was sent to stable so I didn't follow it, sorry. I guess we can drop this patch and once the fix gets upstream and it's stable-material we can pick up both?
