This is a note to let you know that I've just added the patch titled
Drivers: hv: vmbus: Negotiate version 3.0 when running on ws2012r2 hosts
to the 3.14-stable tree which can be found at:
http://www.kernel.org/git/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/stable-queue.git;a=summary
The filename of the patch is:
drivers-hv-vmbus-negotiate-version-3.0-when-running-on-ws2012r2-hosts.patch
and it can be found in the queue-3.14 subdirectory.
If you, or anyone else, feels it should not be added to the stable tree,

Only ws2012r2 hosts support the ability to reconnect to the host on VMBUS. This
functionality
is needed by kexec in Linux. To use this functionality we need to negotiate
version 3.0 of the
VMBUS protocol.
