One option would be to use a .bat file to start STAFProc (rather than
starting
STAFProc.exe directly). Your .bat file could have a "sleep" for an
appropriate
number of seconds (to allow the network enough time to be enabled), and
then
start STAFProc. For example:
sleep 60
STAFProc
You could configure your client Windows machine to start this .bat file
(instead
of STAFProc.exe) as a scheduled task or a Windows service.

[staf-users] Not able to Ping STAF on other machine : IF STAFProc service
is started before actuall network connection is done...Please advice
I have a Master machine and a Client machine containing STAF and STAX..
Both are Windows OS. The master re-starts the client first. On the Startup
of the client machine the STAFProc service is started. The network here is
so slow, that the network connection is eneblead after that ( i.e. after
the STAFProc is started on the Client)... After this the master tries to
Ping the STAF service on the client and it gives an RC = 21 ..which means
that the STAF is not running on the client machine. I restarted STAFProc
on the client machine manually and after this the Master is able to Ping
the Client machine. I also got some error related to
stafconnectionproviderconnect. Can someone please tell me what can I do
here, so that the STAF on the master can ping STAF on the client.
