Hi, I have registered a process to start at the time of starting STAF. I did this registration with the help of LIFECYCLE service and command used is:
<Snip> C:\>staf local lifecycle register phase startup machine local service process request start shell command "java -jar c:\AutomatedTestSystem.jar" newconsole focus background Response -------- 1 <End> Problem: 1. The process is register successfully. But when I start STAF, a new console is started in foreground. Why it is not started in background, If I have set it to start new console in background. 2. If the path "c:\AutomatedTestSystem.jar" contains spaces like "C:\Documents and Settings\Shahid\Desktop\AutomatedTestSystem.jar", then process could not be started at the time of starting STAF. Please clarify my doubts.
