Note that this really does not cause any problems; you can just restart
STAFProc.
This was reported by a user on Linux SLES 10, who said that the problem
went away after rebooting the system.
I also ran into the problem on a VMware system (Windows XP) that was using
DHCP. Adding an entry to its C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file,
such as:
9.x.xx.xxx winxp-vm.austin.ibm.com winxp-vm
And rebooting the system resolved the problem (and removing the hosts
entry
from the file, and rebooting the system, reproduced the problem again).
We may want to document this in our FAQ, or consider making this a warning
rather than an error.

I added that entry (my_ip machine_name) to the hosts file and the problem
disappeared immediately. I then removed that entry and restarted the
system
and the problem didn't occur any more.
