Dear Steve, all,
I just wanted to notify a couple of recent improvements in the Stanbol
ontology manager, hoping they will help making your lives as adopters
easier:
- Ontology registries can now be supplied as data bundles. If in the
Ontology Registry Manager configuration you specify a registry with a
relative URI (e.g. just a filename), it will try to get it from
registered bundle data file providers. See e.g.
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/stanbol/trunk/data/registries/default/
as an example.
- The mapping of ontology IRIs (logical and physical) to Clerezza graph
names is now stored persistently as a reserved graph in Clerezza, so it
is resilient to Stanbol relaunch or re-activation of OntoNet
bundle/components. The new issue is
http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/STANBOL-518
I haven't implemented this for spaces/sessions yet, but if this system
works well it is the next thing I will do.
Any news/problems wrt the adoption of OntoNet lately?
Best regards,
Alessandro
