That seems reasonable.

Is the image data different? If so, then each avatar would have a
different 'id' value. If not, then we might need a modified method of
generating the 'id' value. Either that, or the uniqueness of the image
needs to be determined based on the 'id' and the bytes + height + width
or something like that.
