I think that stating this, at the beginning of the chapter could help.
That this is only one most common scenario designed to help
understanding and for full implementation details one should skip to
Appendix A.
There are no conditionals in the narration, so it's kind of misleading
in this is "the only way".


We need to remember that most times people do not read the documentation
from the beginning to the end. They tend to jump directly in, using
chapter anchors, text search etc. So "for full details see..." pointers
are very helpful.
