In order to fight abuse on the network, we need (among other things!) CAPTCHAs and other computational puzzles in account registration forms:
http://www.xmpp.org/extensions/xep-0158.html But for that we need to figure out how to include media objects in data forms. One proposal is XEP-0221: http://www.xmpp.org/extensions/xep-0221.html However, in the last XMPP Council meeting Ralph Meijer raised some concerns about including media directly in forms: http://mail.jabber.org/pipermail/standards/2008-May/018686.html I tend to agree with Ralph, but we need to figure this out soon.
