When I become online, my server sends probes to contacts in my roster,
right? (ok, maybe it doesn't work this way for contacts on the same
server..)
This would allow me to know that - for example - a friend went shopping
(status message) 1 hour ago, so he'll be back soon. Sounds useful.
Also, presence packets in the initial presence flood would contain delay
mark, so clients would have an easy way to disable pop ups for them.
