I think at most it is simply using Apple's push service to send the call request to the remote device (and we already know Apple use XMPP for this). Disappointing is that Apple didn't decide to adopt Jingle, but that would have likely made it too easy to interop with Google Talk, so maybe it's not surprising :) Matthew
