This list is for discussing standards produced within the XSF (XEPs) - the list I suggest you use is the list for discussion of XMPP specs produced under the IETF (such as 3920bis and 3921bis). It's certainly permitted to ask questions there about anything that you are unsure of in the drafts. Regards, Matthew
