Would it be possible to add this? We'd like to keep our API's list of client types aligned with XMPP's if at all possible, so we'd like to know whether we can safely use 'game', or whether we need to use 'x-game' or something.

(The main reason we suggested this one is that a developer glancing at the list of client types might easily believe that 'console' is used in
the sense of "games console" rather than "/dev/console".)

Seems reasonable.

This one is pretty important for us, so we'd like to know whether we can safely
use 'sms', or whether we need to fall back to 'x-sms' or something.
Bernard Peek indicated that this would be useful to the RNID too,
which is hopefully a significant argument in its favour.

Also seems reasonable.

I'd note that there is, however, no provision for "x-sms", for example, that I can see in XEP-0030.
