There are alternative links that leads in web representation of posts in examples for XEP-0277. That's a good practice but XEP have no explanation how client can know what exactly http link it should post.
I suggest to allow services to make a hooks to post to pubsub nodes of some content-type. Then aggregator which represents posts on web can insert such link into the post. Also, such hooks can be useful for spam or flood filtering which is very important dangerous for such services even in situation when any XMPP server can post to any foreign pubsub node. -- With best regards, Sergey Dobrov, XMPP Developer and JRuDevels.org founder.
