Kev, Matt, Matt and Ralph present. 2) Account Management http://xmpp.org/extensions/inbox/account-management.html Accept as XEP? Unanimous agreement that this shouldn't be accepted as a XEP at the moment, with Kev to write to the standards list giving reasons. Some reasons were not considered reason to block alone, but were in aggregate. A summary: *) The community was asked by Council if they thought this was appropriate, and there was significant objection. *) This introduces a new security model (account creation without providing the server with complete credentials) that the XSF doesn't have the experience to successfully analyse or comment on. The IETF possesses this knowledge and we could publish a XEP applying their findings if they were to publish appropriate findings. *) Using steam features for things that aren't stream features seems like an abuse, and alternatives should be discussed (one was presented during community discussion). 3) XEP-0258 (Security Labels) Move to Draft? All +1 4) Last Message Correction http://xmpp.org/extensions/inbox/correction.html No objection to publishing. Comments both from Council and the community that it's not clear whether this applies to only the most recent, or previous messages. Author (Kev) to clarify this once published. 5) XEP-0009 Accept new version All +1. 6) XEP-0068 Accept new version. Agreement to leave this for the next Council. 7) http://xmpp.org/extensions/inbox/muc-unique.html Split out from XEP-0045 and accept as Experimental? No objections to publishing. 8) http://xmpp.org/extensions/inbox/dmuc3.html Accept as Experimental Agreement to leave for next Council. 9) Thanks for the work put in this term. 10) Any other business. None. Fini. /K
