What about adding the ability to block a group in this XEP with something like: <item group='co-workers'/> -- Yann ------------------------------ Message: 2 Date: Sat, 30 Mar 2013 13:39:43 +0000 From: Matthew Wild <[email protected]> To: XMPP Standards <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [Standards] XEP-0077 registration with 'to' address Message-ID: <CAJt9-x4FnM7EUOS0YJzeWGOWrxvMh7uNpe2A0tbCjxmVBbU=o...@mail.gmail.com> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 On 4 January 2013 23:14, Peter Saint-Andre <[email protected]> wrote: > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > Hash: SHA1 > > XEP-0077 is silent about how to handle registration with a server when > the request contains a 'to' address. No 'to' does not make sense, as this is equivalent to acting on their own account. The 'to' of the JID they want to create also doesn't make sense, as that destination doesn't exist yet. Kev is probably right that XEP-0133 is the cleaner solution to it all...
