Rechecking XEP-0308, I noticed a wording that appeared because of the latest changes, but I think should be changed:

In the middle of section 4, there is this statement:

"It is expected that the receiver SHOULD then treat the new stanza as complete replacement for all the payloads received in the original stanza."

The "expected - SHOULD" combination looks strange. I assume that the intention was:

"The receiver SHOULD then treat the new stanza as complete replacement for all the payloads received in the original stanza."

It is editorial.

---------------------------------

XEP-0301 became available in a new version 0.8 today. XEP-0301 has a dependency on XEP-0308. It would be good if XEP-0308 could move on through another last call.
