Chris/Gunnar apologies, I may have mis-read: I may have answered as if: - on the sender side set sequence restart number to 2**30 (same number every time) Rather than: - on the sender side I limit the range of maximum random sequence restart number between 0 and 2**30. Since you both probably talked about the latter, then that was, of course, the intent of the standard to recommend randomization of seq. Mark Rejhon
