In the XMPP Council meeting just now, there was a brief discussion
about (a) advancing specs from Draft to Final and (b) treating Draft
specs as effectively Final.

I won't cover (b) in this message. However, I would like to suggest
that we have some specs that might be ready advancement from Draft to
Final in the relatively near future.

XEP-0045: Multi-User Chat

XEP-0048: Bookmarks (given recent list discussion, we might want to
complete one more revision on that one first)

XEP-0050: Ad-Hoc Commands (I think this needs one more revision, and I
need to send a patch to Matt Miller with some edits)

XEP-0065: SOCKS5 Bytestreams

XEP-0071: XHTML-IM

XEP-0106: JID Escaping

XEP-0124: BOSH + XEP-0206: XMPP Over BOSH (need to incorporate fixes
first)

That seems like a good start, anyway. Do folks see other candidates
for advancement or have concerns about the specs listed above?

Peter
