The XMPP Council will decide in the next two weeks whether to accept this proposal as an official XEP.

Hey guys,

Some minor points on this proposal, as someone who only has an amateur interest
in XMPP:

- This looks *a lot* like what mailing-lists-in-XMPP would be:
 participants become participants only when an admin/owner (or someone
 already inside) gets them in, you can just assume participants are always
 reachable, send your message, and let the XMPP machinery do the
 buffering, you remain a participant until someone (or you) manually
 removes you,... Main difference is that the list of participants is
 public to those who are inside. Perhaps a note about this would be
 useful for those who'd like to slowly replace SMTP with XMPP.

- § 4.5 Talks about blocking, but example 16 doesn't deal with blocking

- § 4.5.3 "In order to block a " room -> user
